Private Pilot: ASEL & Instrument

My wife Debra and I live in Bonita Springs, relocating from Denver, Colorado in 1998.  We’re originally from Minneapolis and have a son, a daughter and four grandchildren currently living there.  Our youngest son lives in Bloomington, Indiana. I retired from an executive position with a small data communications company in 1997.  Over the course of my work life I held a number of positions in US telecommunications and cable television companies in this country and the United Kingdom. Our retirement life is very active. We live on in a Country Club community so we play some golf, travel fairly extensively, entertain friends, visit our children and pretty much live the good life. This flying thing just sort of “took off” on me.  I always wanted to fly but for all the usual reasons I didn’t get to it.Then in early 2002  a $49 Introductory Flight offer at Safeflight caught my eye. I took the flight, and as they say, the rest is history.

My wife; Elita, and I relocated to Bonita Springs in October 2005.  We are native Arkansans and we make frequent trips there to visit family, especially my two precious granddaughters.  I am the Chief Operating Officer at Moorings Park Retirement Community, in Naples, serving 710 residents on an 83-acre campus.  I have a Bachelor degree in Communications from the University of Arkansas and a Master in Gerontological Studies from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.  I received my private pilot’s license in August 2002 from the Warren County Aerospace Academy, Lebanon, Ohio, and my instrument rating in June 2003.  I have 775 hours PIC with 535 hours in a Cessna 172 and the last 240 hours in a Piper Comanche PA24-250.  I am an aircraft owner and am based at Naples Municipal Airport (KAPF).  I joined the Cub Club in January 2007 and have thoroughly enjoyed the educational opportunities and the comradeship with other club members.

Private Pilot: ASEL

I’m a retired Police Supervisor and have been a realtor and partner in a home improvement business. My 3 children and grandchildren live in upstate N.Y. and New Jersey. In 1990, I brought a boat to Fort Myers loved it and became a “Snow Bird”.  During the summers and for Holidays, I would return to my home in Bolton Landing, Lake George, NY. I started flying in 1993 and after a hiatus, got my Private in 1998. In 1998 I joined the Cub Club was involved in various activities. The year 2000 was when I became a permanent resident. In 2001 I was elected to the board of directors, 2002 elected vice president, 2003 & 2004 was elected president and took over maintenance & facility duties. I was instrumental in getting new paint, interiors and avionics in all the planes. It has been a pleasure serving the Club and making many new friends.

Greetings. I am very pleased to serve the Cub Club as Legal Officer. I have been a club member since earning my private pilot certificate in the year 2000 and served as member of the Board of Directors. The Cub Club has afforded me the opportunity to enjoy aviation on many levels and make friends in the process. I have raised my family and practiced law in Lee County since 1979. My web site is RCAdamski.com

I am originally from Michigan, my husband Marty and I moved to Cape Coral about 3 years ago.  I am a former stock broker for many years with Merrill Lynch.  We now both work in real estate and own some small businesses.  We’re known as “Team Lorenz” because we’re always together! We’re both fairly new pilots, Marty got his ticket in May and I passed my private pilot check ride in N955CC in July of 2006.  I have logged just over 70 hours now and I have just started ground school for my instrument rating.  We’ve both been checked out in the Archers and love to fly all three of the Club planes as regularly as we can.  I am very passionate and enthusiastic about flying! I enjoy taking pictures and writing about all the places we’re discovering with our new wings.  Joining the Cub Club has been a wonderful avenue to meet new friends and get to enjoy flying some good-looking and well-maintained aircraft.
